This wonderfully located apartment close to shops, restaurants and the ocean, is the perfect getaway spot for anyone who wants to explore Cape Town. The apartment is in a secure complex with a communal pool and gym. The unit has a wonderful private shaded patio perfect for sundowners or early morning coffees. This one bedroom apartment has a large comfortable bed with an en-suite bathroom including a modern shower. The tastefully decorated lounge spills onto a private shaded wooden patio. The space is cosy and comfortable, yet spacious and modern. Perfect for business travellers or holiday makers. This apartment is part of a secure complex called Planet Africa, which has a large communal pool, newly renovated gym, a laundry area , paid by Snapscan and a garden. Located just a brief walk away from Sea Point's bustling Main Road, the property is conveniently surrounded by a myriad of popular restaurants and shops. Not far from there lies the picturesque Sea Point Promenade, a vibrant and scenic coastal stretch ideal for leisurely evening walks by the ocean, cherished by both locals and tourists alike. Moreover, the property is thoughtfully equipped with backup power capabilities to withstand load shedding, guaranteeing uninterrupted lighting and the functioning of specified amenities, although the stove is an exception. Guests will be given their own set of keys and have the apartment to themselves. Sea Point is a vibrant suburb of Cape Town, just outside the city centre between Green Point and Bantry Bay. Sea Point is built around Main Road (of which Regent Rd is an extension), with its many shops (Woolworths, Spar and Checkers), takeaways, restaurants (including the fantastic La Mouette), bars and coffee shops - all within walking distance. Just about everything you need is found in this part of the city. The popular Sea Point promenade runs the length of Sea Point’s beachfront, from Bantry Bay to Mouille Point and is a hub of activity, particularly in the early morning or late afternoons to watch the sun set right next to the crystal waters of the Atlantic Seaboard. A number of children’s parks run alongside the promenade. There is also an outdoor gym and a chlorinated swimming pool at the pavilion. It's a great place for running, leisurely strolls, picnics, people watching and taking in the beauty around you. The City Centre, V&A Waterfront and beautiful Clifton and Camps Bay beaches are all a short drive away. Just 25km from the Cape Town International Airport. Should you not hire a car: Many amenities are within walking distance and taxis or Uber readily service the area. A bus stop for a popular MyCiti bus route is nearby on Regent Rd. This is a reliable bus service with routes taking you to the inner City. It connects to other routes going to the V&A Waterfront, Clifton & Camps Bay beaches, as well as Hout Bay fishing village. The red open top "Hop-on Hop-off" City Sightseeing bus stops down on the promenade and is a great way to get to know and explore our city and it's surrounds. For stays longer than a week, a courtesy weekly or mid-stay clean is offered. We can arrange additional cleaning or laundry services upon request and at an additional cost, if required.
