This apartment is part of a secure complex called Planet Africa, which has a large communal pool, newly renovated gym, coin-operated laundry and a garden. The property has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sunny lounge area and kitchen which spills onto a large 20sqm private balcony. The apartment is perfect for traveling couples or for a family. The property is a short stroll from the Main Road in Sea Point with all the popular restaurants and shops. Just down the road is the beautiful and lively Sea Point Promenade, perfect for an evening stroll along the ocean, enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. The property is equipped with backup power to endure load shedding, ensuring continuous lighting and operation of certain amenities, with the exception of the stove. Guests will be given their own set of keys and have the apartment to themselves. If you need something fixed, want to book a tour, require an airport transfer or would just like some local tips, don't hesitate to ask. Sea Point is a vibrant suburb of Cape Town, just outside the city centre between Green Point and Bantry Bay. Sea Point is built around Main Road (of which Regent Rd is an extension), with its many shops (Woolworths, Spar and Checkers), takeaways, restaurants (including the fantastic La Mouette), bars and coffee shops - all within walking distance. Just about everything you need is found in this part of the city. The popular Sea Point promenade runs the length of Sea Point’s beachfront, from Bantry Bay to Mouille Point and is a hub of activity, particularly in the early morning or late afternoons to watch the sun set right next to the crystal waters of the Atlantic Seaboard. There is also an outdoor gym and a chlorinated swimming pool at the pavilion. It's a great place for running, leisurely strolls, picnics, people watching and taking in the beauty around you. The City Centre, V&A Waterfront and the beautiful Clifton Beaches and Camps Bay Beach are all a short drive away. Just 25km from the Cape Town International Airport. Should you not hire a car: Many great shops and restaurants are within walking distance and taxis (Sport) and Uber vehicles readily service the area. A bus stop for a popular MyCiti bus route is nearby on Regent Rd. This is a reliable and affordable bus service with routes taking you to the inner City. It connects to other routes going to the V&A Waterfront, Clifton & Camps Bay beaches, as well as Hout Bay fishing village. The red open top "Hop-on Hop-off" City Sightseeing bus stops down on the promenade and is a great way to get to know and explore our city and it's surrounds. For stays longer than a week, a courtesy weekly or mid-stay clean is offered. We can arrange additional cleaning or laundry services upon request and at an additional cost, if required.
