The place was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, organized and easy to access.  The hosts were proactive and responses were timely.  We were able to walk most places, and on the rainy days, UBER was easily available and very affordable. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Bathroom door in the main bedroom is a bit awkward as it has a big gap in it so you have to lock the bedroom door. Security at the building was very helpful and polite.

The apartment was exactly as was described, the place was neat and clean, the beds were comfortable and the linen crisp. James and Shamiel are incredible hosts, respond to messages within minutes and directions and instructions to the apartment were clear. My daughter and I had a really good time, the apartment is very central, close to restaurants, shops and beaches and we will definitely be back when in the area again. The place is so amazing and aesthetically pleasing. I had a very good time there with my mother and it’s close to a lot of nice places. Helped us save money because we were walking to almost all the restaurants we went to. It was so clean as well.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment. Ideal location. Only addition would be to advise clients they can walk along the canal to the waterfront rather than through town as this is how google maps takes you. Also the door stop on the floor by the kitchen door is not ideal. I kicked my toe on it a few times. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

Convenient for the centre of Cape Town and very handy to have secure parking, washing machine etc. Friendly security to welcome you. Communication with host was good. Note that a late check in (after 5:30 pm I believe) attracts a small fee. As per the advert lots of steps inside the flat so ensure you take note of that before booking. Overall a nice place to explore Cape Town from.

Plenty of room for our family and the flat had all the amenities we could want or need. The balcony was lovely and big, everything was immaculate when we arrived. Alles hat super geklappt! Die Kommunikation war schnell und einfach, der check in problemlos auch schon einige Stunden vor der eigentlichen Check In Zeit möglich. Die Lage ist perfekt für Kapstadt, man kann zu Fuß die Waterfront erreichen und es sind auch viele Restaurants gleich um die Ecke. Der Ausblick aus der Wohnung war super. Als einzig negative war, dass es sehr warm in der Wohnung war. Mit dem Ventilator an der Decke konnten wir in der Nacht trotzdem sehr gut schlafen!

James was a pro-active and first class host. I could see the ocean from inside the unit. Location also in walking distance from supermarkets and promenade; and short Uber ride from CITCC and Two Oceans start and from V&A Waterfront.

We had a great stay at James place! The location was premium just a couple of feet away from the best restaurants in town and down the road from the ocean. Of course, this comes with a little bit of street and restaurant noise. The set-up of the apartment is perfect if you are looking for some private space. The communication and responsiveness of the host was amazing too. We had a little issue that was resolved within 24h. Overall, amazing place with great location and super responsive host! Can recommend.

Very friendly and responsive host. Apartment was nice and clean. However value for money wasn’t ok. Couple of problems: - light from house floor shines through the appartment door at night, makes it hard to sleep without mask - People can look inside the apartment when walking along the house floor - The AC makes a loud noise ever 30 seconds which is super annoying at night - On the balcony there is constant noise from big ACs on the parking

I had a great stay at this apartment in Sea Point. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully finished (quality was unmatched!), and completely stunning inside. The location is absolutely perfect and made getting around Cape Town very easy. While the exterior of the building is quite old and not the most visually appealing, this is completely forgotten once you step inside as the interior is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. One small suggestion would be to add a sheer blind or curtain over the glass panels at the front door. Although the glass is blurred, it isn’t fully opaque, so an extra layer would improve privacy. I did experience a few minor issues during my stay, but the host resolved them promptly the following morning. Communication was excellent throughout, which I would expect given the price point, and it met that expectation. Overall, I felt the stay was fair for what was paid and hopefully will look to return next time I’m visiting Cape Town next year :)

We had a fantastic stay and loved the thoughtful interior design and the location was perfect! Also having parking on site made it all the more more comfortable- the hosts were always on hand to help with any queries!

No electricity in Aptment on arrival (building had electricity). Buckets and mops left laying around on arrival. Might have just been a freak accident but the stay was booked months in advance, and because of the problem, I was required to secure an expensive last minute hotel booking because of it. I can’t help but think of how terrible it would have been if I could not immediately pay +/- R15k for a hotel and had to wait for the Airbnb refund to clear after 2 days. James and Eben were very responsive and apologetic but the entire ordeal was profoundly upsetting. A whole day wasted from the trip. I needed to work, needed WiFi and electricity. Meetings were cancelled and court deadlines missed because of the ordeal. This is apart from the fact that I also had to pay extremely hefty prices for last minute accommodation at a suitable hotel. No suitable solution or volunteer to carry some of the costs occasioned by this has been forthcoming, prompting the need for this review.

We spent a wonderful week in this apartment. It’s spacious and full of natural light, and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view of the mountain from the bed is absolutely stunning. The interior is a bit worn and looks slightly better in the photos, but overall it’s still great value for money. There is also a spot in an open but guarded parking area, which is very convenient. Another nice bonus: the elevator from the building goes directly down to the floor where the shopping mall is located, with a large supermarket — you can literally go grocery shopping in your slippers! And on the corner of the building there’s a lovely specialty coffee shop called Pauline’s, where they serve delicious breakfasts with fresh pastries. Highly recommend!

This Place Was Honestly Stunning, From The Kitchen, To Bathroom, To Bedroom To Living Room & Balcony Views! I’d Definitely Recommend! It Was A Little Cold In The Evenings Due To The Small Gaps In Front Door Causing A Draft Through The Apartment. But Other Than That It Was Perfect! No Complaints At All, Me & My Sis Loved It! Perfect For A Solo Trip Also As The Area Was Very Safe!

James was very quick to correspond in a friendly and kind manner. Instructions for the house and how to self check in were very clearly presented in a visual and written format prior to arrival. Checking in with us throughout our stay, gave us opportunity to ask questions and seek help. The apartment was very clean, the bed huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, very clean and the shower pressure good. The kitchen had new appliances and sharp knives...often a rare event in AirBnBs! The complex felt secure. This was important. Easy access downstairs to a supermarket for supplies. Around the corner to many Restaurants, a view of Lion Head and a short stroll to the beach and Promenade walk which was well worth it. Cheap ubers to Table Mountain and the V and A Waterfront from the front of the complex. We often ask ourselves if something was good enough to return to again, as a way to gauge the experience....the answer here is YES!

Absolutely stunning apartment.. even better than the pictures ! Great location to get to pretty much anywhere in Capetown - lovely to be right by the beach and have such an intimate view of lions head.. personally my favourite time of day was sunset over looking lions head with the doors open that lead to the balcony … absolutely majestic! I highly recommend this stylish pad and the hosts were great with fantastic communication. I’ll be coming back.
